chamber dinner party
there's nothing more fun than having a fabulous dinner party with your friends and close ones, but what makes it even better is a beautiful tablescape. gathering together with some bubbly, hors d'oeuvres, and a darn good dessert!
This design was for a corporate dinner party that we produced last weekend for the conway chamber of commerce. several months ago, jessica and her design assistant, danae, did a site visit to the home where the party would be held. the home had a rich, traditional color palette of burgundy, navy, hunter green, and golden yellow. jess always wants a party that is taking place in someone's home to complement the existing decor, while giving it a special touch. we brought in natural wood chairs to play off the many different wood tones + antique furnishings throughout the home. A simple cashmere satin linen was chosen to soften the space. there was already a lot of color in the home, so it was important not to compete with the existing palette. for the floral, we paired pops of dark tones with neutrals which was perfect for the winter season.
our favorite detail has to be the geometric detailed menu we custom-made, paired with the fun leopard print napkin. it made a simple, but big statement on each place setting!
